more than you expect July 18, 2001 4 out of 13 found this review helpful
Hi! I borrowed this book from a professor at a class I was taking. At first I was disappointed; I was looking for some concise information on teaching in the block schedule. Instead, I found this book to be a broad resource containing much educational reference material (such as Bloom's taxonomy, Gardner's multiple intelligences, etc.) as well as an excellent in-depth overview of teaching in the block schedule. The format of the book is interesting, too. The chapters are laid out using the analogy of putting on a play. You'll have to look at it to see what I mean.
