Worth the price; can't wait for the full edition August 11, 2008 J. Seidel Worth the price; can't wait for the expanded full version. Thanks for the great info.
I found it worth the money August 10, 2008 so many books . . . (Statesboro, GA) I found the book worth the money I paid for it. I thought it had a lot of tips that the Users Guide which came with the Kindle did not include. I admit I am not that technical -- someone who already knows a lot might not need this, but I found it helps me get the most out of my purchase. The Kindle is expensive. The small amount of money this book costs relative to the cost of the Kindle, so that you can maximize your use of the device, made it worth it to me.
I have updated my rating to a 5. August 5, 2008 J. W. Garrett (Troy Alabama) Most of what I found useful I likely could have found if I read the manual. It wasn't very expensive though. I am updating my review. The system will not let me change my rating but I would update it to a 5. I got out the manual for my Kindle today and found it did not have much information at all. This book is worth more than I realized at the time I wrote my initial review.
Windwalker is a life-saver July 31, 2008 Fog City Fan (San Francisco, CA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Being somewhat over the age of consent, I have found this publication to be extremely helpful. It is a work in progress. A particularly attractive feature is that you can receive updates as they become available. Don't expect that from your Funk and Wagnalls. The author gently led me through information about features that are hardly touched upon in the user handbook and not at all in their advertising. I look forward to more information as it is developed. Thank you Mr. Windwalker.
How to Use the Amazon Kindle for Email & Over 100 Pages of Other Cool Tips (The Complete User's Guide to the Amazing Amazon Kind July 19, 2008 V. Gail Royster (Knoxville TN) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I found the guide to be very helpful and extremely detailed. I was able to learn more regarding how to use my Kindle from this guide than from the reference guide that came with my Kindle. The guide also provided a lot of useful links and I really liked the links to free ebook downloads. Well worth the BETA price for certain. I am a weekly traveling consultant and spend a lot of time on planes and in hotels. My Kindle is the perfect travel companion. I found this guide to be very resourceful and it contains a lot of useful information and it is much easier to read than the manual that came with the Kindle. It also saved me a lot of trial and error time. I realize that not every one can be pleased but I have no complaints especially considering how little this item cost. I appreciate that the author put a lot of effort into learning how to use his Kindle and for taking the time to share this information in written form.
