Excellent January 6, 2009 Sandra J. Smallwood (Leesburg, Florida) I would recommend to anyone that you purchase this book. I have not finished it but everything in it makes complete sense. They also connect the Bible in all areas which is wonderful. It makes a difference in your life if you read it.
same as DVD but better January 4, 2009 K. Lees (SoCal) The Secret book, for the most part, is identical to the DVD except there are a few extra "points" they don't say in the DVD. Those extra "points" really hit home with me so I'm glad I read the book. It's super easy reading, too! It's well worth the few dollars!
Awesome! January 4, 2009 Laura Bank Witte (Mesa, AZ) This book has changed my life! It will train you in a new way of thinking to create that life that you have always dreamed of. It's a great complement to Pearls of Wellness (Pearls of Wellness 52 Inspirations to Achieve a Peaceful Body, Mind, and Spirit).
I finally read it; now the secret is out! January 1, 2009 S. D. Haltzman (Rhode Island) I am a big advocate for an abundance mentality, and keeping a positive attitude. But the author takes it too literally, insisting that with the right attitude we will never become sick, or can throw away our glasses, or can eat whatever we want and stay thin. Not in my lifetime! Anyway, I gave it 2 stars rather than 1 because I think it can serve to inspire people, and was written in an engaging style.
A good introduction to the Law of Attraction January 1, 2009 Helena Harper, Author 'It's a Teacher's Life...!' (UK) The 'secret' that this book is about is the Law of Attraction (LOA) and, if you know nothing about the LOA, then this book is a good starting point. It explains what the LOA is (you get what you focus on) and then goes on to illustrate how you can apply this 'secret' to achieve what you truly want with regard to money, relationships, your health and the world. The LOA is based on the energy vibrations we are emitting (and these are determined by the types of thoughts we have). Gratitude is a powerful process for shifting our energy onto higher planes and bringing more of what we want into our lives and when we feel love, we are emitting the highest vibration of all. What I liked about the book are the summaries at the end of each chapter and the stories that are told to illustrate the points that are being made. One of the most astounding is the story about Morris Goodman, 'The Miracle Man'. He was completely paralyzed after he crashed his aeroplane and could only blink his eyes. The doctors said he would remain like that for the rest of his life, but nine months later he walked out of the hospital on his own two feet. These are inspiring stories, but there is more to the LOA than is covered in this book. However, it is a good introduction to the whole topic and, if you have an open mind, it will most definitely broaden your horizons about what is possible and achievable in life.
